1. Begin by washing hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2. Next, carefully remove the protective cap from the Medline Catheter Bag and
inspect the drainage spout to confirm it is securely closed.
3. Clean the connector end of the tubing as well as the catheter end with an alcohol-saturated pad or
similar disinfecting material. Then, attach the catheter to the drain bag tubing
connector securely.
4. Dispose of any packaging materials, alcohol pads,
and other disposables responsibly.
5. Finish by washing your hands again with soap and water to maintain hygiene.
